what kind of a spider is this?

We saw this fine specimen near a mountain lake in the Austrian Alps about 2.000m above sea level. It was a rainy and cloudy day, but the little spider didn’t really care about the bad weather. Her back was covered by an orange coat. She was a bright orange spot in a desert of stones and gravel.

Our dog was more impressed with the cow dung. She loves this irresistible smell and wallows in the cow dung. Well, and we have to endure the new parfum of our dog.

But what I meant to say is, that I have never seen such an orange spider in the Alps before. Maybe I have always paid too little attention to alpine spiders.

Does anyone know what kind of a spider this is? Please let me know!
