volcanic rock

Reynisfjara is a beach of black volcanic rock situated between Vík and the rock formations at Dyrhólaey in Iceland.

The beach features stacks of basalt columns, and a wall of surrounding cliffs. In the summer you will see baby Puffins on the cliffs here.
