Jökulsárlón is a large glacial lagoon on Iceland’s southeast coast that stems down from Europe’s largest glacier, Vatnajökull. Huge iceblocks floating on the lagoon. They spill to the lagoon 19km (12 miles) away from the jagged glacier to the edge of the water line. The lagoon came into being only 60 years ago.
